“My art work is an open love letter to myself. I tend to lose the importance of self love and self care, moving past the idea of mistakes but more of lessons. Having daily reminders helps to strengthen my growth. I pray that the viewer is able to engage not only with my personal journey, but to look into their own evolution. The functionality aspect of my work is not just a way to interact with the art but a constant reminder of loving oneself even at the worst of times. If you’re not ok, how can you be the best you?”
