Natalie Alana Sturgis is an African American writer & painter born and raised in New York. In what she describes as her process, she attempts to capture her emotions onto surfaces, with the use of acrylics and unconventional materials. She waits patiently to be connected to the narrative of her mediums in use, all while absorbing the histories and deep rooted messages embedded within.
